Whatyou'llown

• Driveaccurateandtimelyfinancial reporting by ensuring accounting records align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatoryrequirementsand Global Payments policies.

• Own the preparation and review of journal entries that support reliable financial results and strengthen reporting integrity.

• Deliveraccurategeneral ledger reconciliations,identifydiscrepanciesand resolve issues through detailed analysis that protects financial accuracy.

• Influence month-end close success by driving completion of key accounting activities whilemaintainingquality,accuracyand deadlines.

• Build strong partnerships across departments to improve financial transparency, strengthenprocesses,and enable better business decisions.

• Develop a deep understanding of operational processes behind assigned accounts and use that insight to improve financial outcomes.

• Identifyopportunities to enhance accounting processes, recommendimprovements,and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Contribute to audit readiness and special projects that strengthen controls, support businessobjectivesand create long-term value for Global Payments.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3 to 4 years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices, with a strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals.

• Experience analyzing financial data,identifyingissuesand applying critical thinking to develop effective solutions.

• Strong organizational,communication,and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel,Wordand Outlook.

• A proactive, detail-oriented,and results-focused approach, with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.

• A positive, adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement,collaboration,and delivering excellent internal client experiences.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Financial software.

• Experience in the credit card processing or bankcard industry.

• 5 years of general ledger accounting experience.
