What We’re Looking For:

• Active New Jersey special education teaching license (required)
• Experience working in special education with any school age group: elementary, middle, or high school
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
• Passion for fostering growth in diverse learners, and adaptable to a range of learning needs
• Positive, patient, and resourceful approach to behavior management and student encouragement

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals
• Employ a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to meet each learner’s unique needs
• Track and report on academic and developmental progress, adjusting plans as necessary
• Communicate proactively and professionally with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
