Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator plays a key role in supporting safe and efficient operations by moving, loading, and organizing materials. This position ensures accurate handling of products, supports order fulfillment, and contributes to a well-organized and productive work environment.Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficientlyLoad, unload, and move materials within the yard, warehouse, or facilityTransport materials between storage, staging, and loading areasPull, stage, and prepare orders accurately for delivery or productionVerify quantities and inspect materials for accuracy and qualityAssist with organizing and maintaining inventorySupport drivers, team members, and customers with material handling needsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentReport damaged materials, discrepancies, or safety concernsFollow all safety policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as neededWhat you'll bring:Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment preferredAbility to safely handle and move materials of varying sizes and weightsStrong attention to detail and basic math skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsReliability and a strong commitment to safetyExperience in warehouse, yard, or construction-related environmentsFamiliarity with building materials or industrial productsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move materials as requiredAbility to perform work in indoor and/or outdoor environmentsComfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and equipment operationAbility to work extended hours based on business needsWhat you'll earn:Health Care BenefitsPaid Time OffBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
