Responsibilities Review and approve Accountant IV Transactions in AZ360 and ensure that AZ360 transactions are processed. Review ACHs from Accountant IV. Reconcile AZ360 Funds to the Cash Flow Worksheets by the 2nd business day of the next month (Oct, Jan, Apr, Jul – by the 1st business day of the next month). Download ASAP/AZ360 screens on the first of each month; attach to email for the Monthly Reconciliation and send to the Controller. Review and approve LGTS Reconciliation from Accountant III and Accountant IV. Draw, track, code, and pay ADEQ & Payroll, ensuring timely processing; ensure team members charge correct codes; report changes to the Business Operations Administrator. Review Payroll Processing and Reporting from the Controller. Review and approve monthly investment splits from Accountant IV. Provide Funding Codes for Requisitions and other Transactions. Manage Chart of Accounts – structure and naming. Supervise and train the Accounting Team and new employees. Address new sub‑system questions and implementations. Assist in audits. Review bond proceeds for Accountant IV. Prepare Monthly Cash & Loan Report. Review and approve AZ360 transactions for the Accounting Team. Manage and prepare disbursement claims for the Water Conservation Grant Fund and Long‑Term Water Augmentation. Prepare any fund adjustments using transfer transactions in AZ360. Track all interest payments from the State Treasurer’s Office; ensure correct postings and maintain records. Reconcile Monthly Investment Splits. Prepare for arbitration, ensuring the PO is created and paid when completed. Complete internal audits and corrective actions for various accounting functions. BQ38LV3 – Period Expense Reporting and Adjustments. Federal Financial Reporting (FFRs). Qualifications & Requirements Experience managing and supervising an accounting team. Minimum 15 years equivalent accounting experience, including at least an Account 4 and above; a bachelor’s degree or accounting certifications highly preferred. Proficiency with AZ360 FIN & HRM and DotStaff mandatory; APP and eCivis training available. Familiarity with state platforms preferred. Flexibility to work primarily from home with at least two in‑office days per month for Board and Committee meetings (usually the second week of each month). #J-18808-Ljbffr MSR Technology Group
