Tesla Data Collection Team RoleTesla is looking for highly motivated and adaptive individuals to support Tesla's data collection team. The primary objectives of this role are to collect data, assist with engineering operations, and report equipment feedback.The successful candidate for this position must be able to make data driven decisions and be comfortable working in a dynamic & fast paced work environment. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for the field of robotics and a strong desire to contribute to the development of Optimus. Demonstrate ability to utilize process improvements, increasing individual and team efficiency.Schedule available is 8:00AM-4:30PM; Sunday-ThursdayResponsibilitiesPerform data collection tasks such as manipulation of objects, walk pre-determined routes, follow testing guidelines and test protocols at Tesla facilities and in public environmentsWear motion capture equipment while performing designated movements and actions based on project requirementsStart/stop recording devices and perform minor equipment and software debuggingProvide feedback on the performance of the equipmentAnalyze and report on data collected during shiftUpload data collected and write daily reports detailing observations and issuesMaintain equipment in safe working condition, prioritize safety protocols, and communicate with leadership promptlyRequirementsMust be able to walk 7+ hours a day while carrying up to 30 lbs. of various types of equipmentHeight between 5'7" and 6'3 as role requires the use of motion capture equipmentContinuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation, body coordination, and kinesthetic awareness and ability to walk up/downstairsHigh attention to detail, ability to follow precise instructions, and basic proficiency with software for data upload and reportingAbility to perform technical troubleshooting on equipment and willingness to learn new technologies quicklyFlexibility for weekends and overtime, demonstrate operational success with minimal supervisionAbility to travel up to 25% of the time and daily regional driving
