Equipment Operator Full Time Technical Eastover, SC, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1087 Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly Minimum Qualifications Education: High School or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience with hook/roll-off trucks and wheel loaders preferred; Prior experience with heavy equipment preferred. Certificate/Licensure: Valid driver's license; CDL Class A or B (preferred). Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Operate equipment combinations (excavator, roll off/hook truck, wheel loader, forklift); demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments. Operate equipment in industrial waste, soil amendments and other non‑hazardous solids on customer facilities, designated landfills, recycling facilities, or land sites for disposal, recycling, or beneficial use. Practice and promote safety, including assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate PPE. Perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs. Maintain basic housekeeping of work area and basic care and maintenance of equipment. Maintain communication with supervisors and team members. Pass a background check and drug test. Maintain a safe driving record. Perform other duties as assigned and relevant to the position. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Expected to be present at the project location for a 12‑hour shift and/or as directed by the Project Manager; may work extended hours including weekends and holidays. Workplace is smoke‑free. PPE is required and must be worn as instructed. Must adhere to all safety requirements. Performance Expectations Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of assigned equipment. Immediately report any unsafe situations to the Manager before attempting service. Participate and cooperate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by the Manager. Notify Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. Perform scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by the Company. Maintain a safe operating record. Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, and/or weekends. Have general knowledge of the principles, practices, and processes including current Federal and State laws, statutes, regulations, policies. Use personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA exposure control program. Knowledge of computer systems and equipment applications such as GPS systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
