Job Details

• Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Specialty Focus: General anesthesia coverage across orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro cases
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,660 - $8,070
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Patient Volume: Approximately 1-9 patients per day
• Setting: Level I trauma hospital
• Location: Lexington, Kentucky
• Start Date: Flexible start after late summer
• Duration: 13 weeks with extension potential
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required; no new graduates
• Recent experience in a large medical center setting
• Level I trauma experience required
• Current NBCRNA certification
• Active Kentucky CRNA license or willingness to obtain licensure
• Experience with intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and line placement
• Ability to work in a medically directed anesthesia model
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination compliance required, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anesthesia care for a diverse patient population across all age groups
• Support surgical cases in orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and neuro services
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, anesthesia technicians, residents, and other clinical team members
• Perform airway management and vascular access procedures as needed
• Deliver care in non-operating room anesthesia environments when assigned
• Maintain safe, efficient workflow while adapting to a busy trauma-capable hospital setting
• Document accurately within the electronic health record and follow established clinical protocols
