About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Cardiology Technologist Profession: Allied Level 2 Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5 days a week Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, some procedures may run until 4:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience; 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience License: NYS Rad Tech License Certifications: NMTCB or ARRT(N) preferred; BLS Certification Must-Have: - 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience - 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience - NYS Rad Tech License - ARRT Certification with continuing education credits Description: Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies with precision and clinical expertise. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while explaining procedures and ensuring comfort. Maintain the safety of patients at all times. Acquire and process diagnostic images and perform daily quality control. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Manage and document patient data in the electronic record system. Partner with colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols continuously. Uphold organizational values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in all work activities. Conduct various studies including SPECT blood flow studies and cardiac amyloidosis assessments.
