Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Floating Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Float between Medical Surgical floors as needed to support staffing requirements
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with high-volume inpatient units and adaptive scheduling environments
