CNC Machinist

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes, with the ability to operate CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mechanical principles to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications.
* Perform CNC programming and MasterCAM programming to create efficient machining processes.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements.
* Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure product quality.
* Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes through lean manufacturing principles.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. *Experience* * Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes is essential.
* Familiarity with SolidWorks, and Mastercam software.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
* Experience with tooling, plastics, assembly processes, and forklift operation is a plus.
* A commitment to quality assurance through meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of machining.
