Senior Paralegal

Responsibilities The Senior Paralegal will directly assist and support the General Counsel and other members of Related Companies’ legal team, with a primary focus on corporate governance and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting corporate and real estate transactions, while also demonstrating the versatility to support a broad range of legal matters. This position will be based in New York, NY. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the legal team in all aspects of corporate governance, real estate transactions, and other legal matters and special projects Assist in the preparation, review and editing of legal documents, including transaction documents, NDAs, license agreements and other contracts Support corporate/real estate transactions and coordinate closing processes, including ordering good standing certificates and lien searches, overseeing document execution and compiling and delivering documents Monitor transaction timelines, closing checklists, and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion Prepare organizational documents, including entity formation documents, operating agreements, assignments, authorizing resolutions, officer/incumbency certificates and other governance materials Maintain legal department files, records, templates, databases and transaction documentation Collaborate and interface with outside legal counsel, internal business teams and other stakeholders Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of paralegal experience supporting corporate and transactional matters in a law firm or in-house legal department Experience supporting corporate and transactional matters; real estate experience is strongly preferred. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
