The approach at our treatment centers is firmly rooted in individualized, person-centered care to help clients uncover the why behind their disorders and help them build foundational relationships that help answer the how in moving forward Position Summary This position’s responsibilities include ensuring the health and safety of all clients as well as assessing and prescribing appropriate medication regimes. This position also assesses medical and psychiatric issues and concerns then address or make appropriate referrals. This position also approves potential admissions based on medical and psychiatric requirements. This position is responsible for consulting with the treatment team on primary diagnosis and co-occurring issues. Relationships and Contacts Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout STR Behavioral Health and affiliated facilities. Outside the organization Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary. Position Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities Maintaining a safe and secure environment Help Clients by providing information, services, and assistance Routine checkups and psychiatric evaluations of clients Conducting follow up and evaluation of client physical and psychiatric conditions. Prescribe medications as necessary Document clinical, medical, and psychiatric treatments and recommendations Oversee and collaborate with Clinicians on client’s treatment plans Participate in Clinical Treatment team meetings 2x a month Pre-screen clients by reviewing psych and medical records for admission Minimum of two hours a week, depending on current census Additional Responsibilities Functions within the guidelines of the facility’s Code of Ethics and in accordance with corporate compliance. Represents the program within the community at local, regional, and national events, as requested. Assists in promoting and ensuring the organization’s values, mission, goals, and objectives are understood and actively supported by the employees. Performs other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr
