About the Role

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? Do you like variety in your day and learning new technical skills? We’re looking for a dependable Building Maintenance / CNG Helper to support our Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) operations while also assisting with general building maintenance.

This is a hybrid, hands-on role —you’ll work alongside an experienced CNG technician on specialized equipment and systems, and when CNG activity slows, you’ll stay productive with meaningful building and facility maintenance work. If you’re curious, safety‑minded, and eager to grow your skill set, this role offers an excellent opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with CNG operations , including compressors, natural gas systems, testing equipment, and piping
• Learn and support preventive and corrective maintenance on CNG systems
• Perform general building maintenance during lighter CNG workloads
• Help with electrical, plumbing, and facility repairs
• Follow established safety protocols at all times
• Work independently on assigned tasks and adapt to changing priorities

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

• Building or facilities maintenance
• Basic electrical and plumbing experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a variety of tasks
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and adaptable

Nice to Have

• Experience with natural gas or CNG systems
• Exposure to industrial or mechanical environments
• Willingness to learn specialized CNG equipment and processes

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
