Senior Tax Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to client service engagements while working in a supportive, team‐focused environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of tax compliance, accounting support, and client consultation, with opportunities for continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpapers and federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
• Perform bookkeeping adjustments and reviewing client accounting records
• Assist with client consultations, tax planning, and advisory services
• Prepare and manage correspondence with government agencies on behalf of clients
• Collaborate with team members to meet client deadlines and maintain high‐quality standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field
• Fundamental knowledge of federal and state tax law
• Experience with current accounting software and tax reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‐solving skills
• CPA certification required, or actively pursuing CPA designation
