As a Physician Coding Manager , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient coding of medical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Oversee the coding process for physician services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims

• Develop and implement coding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Conduct regular audits to identify and correct coding errors, and implement corrective actions to prevent future errors

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and coders to ensure accurate and complete coding of medical services

• Stay up-to-date with changes in coding regulations and industry standards, and apply this knowledge to improve coding processes and outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve coding accuracy and efficiency

• Provide educational training and support to coders and healthcare providers on coding policies and procedures

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in outpatient coding or billing management, with a focus on CPT and ICD-10 coding

• CPC credential is required

• Strong knowledge of coding regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Position is 100% on-site.
