The Opportunity Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you know how to create a cloud‑based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud‑based solutions for some of the nation’s toughest problems. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on‑premise, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll grow your skills in areas like AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry. You Have 3+ years of experience using software with a cloud‑first development approach 3+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on‑premise or hybrid solutions 1+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or OCI Resource Manager Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience in a technical role in lieu of a degree Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date Nice If You Have Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
