Radiology Technician

Role Overview This position involves performing plain film and fluoroscopy x-ray procedures, supporting the imaging department in patient care and image quality. Responsibilities include explaining procedures, transporting and positioning patients, assisting with reports and charting, maintaining safety protocols, preparing contrast media, monitoring patient activity, and ensuring high-quality images are submitted promptly. The role may include limited emergency CT procedures and requires maintaining a clean, organized environment while ensuring equipment functionality and safety. Qualifications & Skills Completion of a Radiology Technology program Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Valid radiologic technologist license or temporary accreditation (state-specific) ARTR-R Radiography certification Physical ability for frequent standing, lifting, and patient movement Strong communication skills and attention to safety protocols Key Duties Patient education, positioning, and transport Assisting with imaging procedures and documentation Following radiation safety guidelines Preparing contrast media and monitoring patient during procedures Maintaining equipment, cleanliness, and department organization Supporting in emergent CT procedures if needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
