Al Coro is looking for individuals to join the Private Events department! With our newly awarded 2 Michelin stars, we are getting more inquiries than ever before and we need a dedicated Private Events team! We have opportunities for individuals seeking both full time & part time employment. Working with our Events team is a great opportunity to get exposure to the service standards of a fine dining environment while maintaining schedule flexibility or another job.

Pastry Cooks are the core of the Pastry Department. You and your fellow cooks will be responsible for producing mise en place for service, private dining, and special events. Pastry Cooks are also responsible for organizing and cleaning their stations, cooking and plating food to order, and breaking down their stations at the end of their shifts.

As a Pastry Cook at Al Coro, you should have a thorough understanding of classic cooking and pastry techniques as well as a basic understanding of how to use all the equipment required to produce your mise en place safely. Pastry Cooks must possess a natural drive to do well and work together.

This is a full time position and requires flexible schedule availability: including nights, weekends and lunches.

Candidate requirements & responsibilities - Must have prior experience cooking, either in a restaurant or in Culinary school. - Must be able to lift & carry at least 50 pounds - Must be able to stand for long periods of time - Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing) - Must have full schedule availability - Must be able to take constructive criticisms and work well in a team dynamic
