RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Nights - 12 Hour Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week.

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide critical and comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role requires flexibility to float to other departments as needed, ensuring optimal patient care across the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC).
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and coordinate with other healthcare personnel as necessary.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active and Clear New York RN License.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting.
• A minimum of 2 years of U.S. nursing experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
