Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, direct foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Assist with security-related presence during high-activity periods, support de-escalation when appropriate, and provide clear information to visitors and staff regarding location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
• Must be willing to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
