Job Description
Title
Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule
- Shift: 3x12 rotation - Nights / Mids (1900-0700 and 1100-2300)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 8 weeks (possible extension)

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage and assessment of patients of all ages.
- Perform airway management, intubation, and care for ventilated patients.
- Administer cardiac care, including dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG readings.
- Manage IV and central line care, as well as administer blood products and vasopressors.
- Facilitate procedural sedation and chest tube care.
- Address behavioral health issues and manage crises in a safe and effective manner.

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are not accepted
- Background checks are reviewed case-by-case
- RTO restriction: cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days RTO
