- 2 Evening Shift and 2 Nights Shift (8-hour shifts)
- Provide skilled care to Veterans/residents, including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and residents' physical and emotional condition; promptly report changes to the nurse.
- Maintain resident hygiene, comfort, cleanliness, and safety, including fall prevention and use of safety devices as directed.
- Follow infection control, emergency, and facility safety protocols.
- Document care provided accurately in daily logs or electronic medical records and participate in shift hand-off reports.
- Provide respectful emotional support, encourage independence, and uphold residents' rights, dignity, and privacy.
- Assist residents with recreational and social activities.
- Work under the supervision of an RN or LPN and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- An active, current CNA license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing
- BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements.
