Cloud Application Security Architect

Job Title: Cloud Application Security Architect Location: Washington, DC 20433 Duration: 12 Months – Long Term Contract Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Application Security Architect with strong hands‑on expertise in Azure Cloud Security, AI/ML technologies, and DevSecOps practices. This role will lead enterprise security architecture initiatives with a focus on application security , cloud‑native applications, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, and AI/LLM security. Top Required Skills 15+ years of professional IT experience in enterprise environments, software development lifecycle (SDLC), information security, and application security. 8+ years of hands‑on experience in Enterprise Security Architecture, Application Security, and Cloud Security. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), demonstrating proficiency in automating and managing infrastructure through code. Strong background in AI/LLM security, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for Generative AI systems, with the ability to apply AI technologies to solve complex business and security challenges.
