Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele

Tele RN Step-down/PCU

Shift: 3x12 Nights, 19000730, Every other weekend required

Minimum 2 years RN experience

Telemetry / PCU / Step-down experience required

Stroke / neuro and post-cardiac cath care experience required

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Required charting system: EPIC

Core clinical skills include:

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
• Stroke/neuro care (including post-thrombectomy monitoring)
• Post-cardiac cath / post-MI care
• IV/PICC/central line and peripheral line care
• Oxygen delivery, HFNC, non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Basic wound care and common step-down procedures

Compliance / Notes:

COVID-19 vaccine: Not required

Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

License requirements:

IL: license in hand required at time of submittal

MO: may submit without MO license; MO or compact required before issuance

Compact: must match permanent residence or be updated

No local candidates within a 75-mile radius

Compliance deadline: 3pm CST on the Monday before initial start date

Labs and modules: labs due 4872 hrs after signing; online modules required pre-start

Fit testing: facial hair must allow proper fit testing (may be required to shave)
