Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is based in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Mauston, WI
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire, STABLE within 1 year of hire, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire
• Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing is required; a four-year degree in nursing is preferred; must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license; intermediate proficiency with computers; comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge of equipment; thorough understanding of triage; strong quantitative and analytical competency; self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills; experience in labor and delivery nursing is essential
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing initial nursing assessments, managing labor and delivery, neonatal resuscitation, monitoring fetal and maternal conditions, and providing patient education. The role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
