MRI Technologist

Location

Berlin, VT

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Primarily 10-hour shifts during daytime hours, starting between 6 am and 9 am. Flexibility with schedule is required, including on-call shifts.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and administering contrast injections as necessary. This role involves collaboration with medical staff and adhering to all safety protocols while utilizing advanced MRI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performing MRI scans and procedures according to physician orders.
• Providing high-quality imaging and ensuring the safety of patients during MRI procedures.
• Administering contrast injections as required.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Documenting patient information and scan results in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT MRI certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI technology.
• Experience in a teaching facility is required.
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
