Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
- Experience delivering OT services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals and promote classroom participation
- Maintain accurate therapy records and progress reports in alignment with educational requirements
- Provide recommendations and strategies to enhance student access to the curriculum and school environment
