Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Telemetry experience required - Charge RN experience required - EPIC experience required - Understanding of care for patients with arterial and venous access Description: Mandatory questionnaire: Please answer the following questions before proceeding with the application process. (Yes or No) This position involves working with patients pre and post procedures related to interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular treatments. The role requires telemetry monitoring for some patients, but not all. Candidates should be proficient in monitoring and managing arterial and venous access sites. Knowledge of hemostasis management for these access sites is essential. The position does not require weekend or holiday shifts. Candidates should be prepared for the EKG exam during the compliance process. All candidates must pass this exam to be eligible for the role. This position is ideal for nurses familiar with the care needs of cardiac, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology patients. Femoral and radial arterial/venous access management skills are imperative for this role.
