Senior Front-end Developer

As a full-time Senior Front-end Developer in the Design System team, the candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing Moodle's design system across products, collaborating with engineering teams, and developing scalable components using React in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Collaborate with product engineering teams to facilitate the adoption of the design system and assist with migration tasks Develop and maintain accessible design system components in React while ensuring smooth integration into the product codebase Review code contributions from team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure quality through testing and documentation Required qualifications Strong front-end development experience, particularly with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proven experience with AI-assisted development and integrating AI tools into the development workflow Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git Experience in testing integrated code and performing QA testing Background in working as part of a Design System team, especially in the initial build phase
