Job Title

Staff RN - Emergency Department - Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process for Emergency Department patients
• Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely, and implement physician orders as written
• Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Document the nursing process in a thorough, concise, accurate, and legible manner
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status
• Direct co-workers and delegate role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience with problem-solving and facilitating resolution to patient care issues
