Role Overview
We are on the hunt for a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team committed to providing top-notch care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic procedures, collaborate with committed clinicians, and offer reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, communicating each phase with care and clarity
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver optimal diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment with diligence, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Keep accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices
Education and Certification Requirements
- Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Licensing/Certification Needed
- Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

- Excellent technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and proper patient positioning
- Outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
