Job Title Program Manager 4/ (PM4) Location Columbus, OH Work Model Onsite Compensation $156-161k Position Overview Program Manager What You Will Be Doing Responsible for the development of estimates for enhancement or development efforts in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the program plan. Responsible for the capture and reporting of required program management metrics. Adjust and revise estimates as necessary. Ensure all changes to scope follow processes and are documented. Ensure new estimates are approved by the client and agreed upon. Manage and track the program progress against the program plan. Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure the project is on schedule; take corrective actions if a project begins to slip its schedule. Prepare status reports periodically for program teams, Team Leads, group leads, program managers and stakeholders. Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts across application teams. Develop detailed program plans for enhancement or development efforts. Accountable for the final program management evaluation review with stakeholders for approval upon program completion. Tailor and baseline all program templates. Schedule or monitor status reviews, peer reviews, program management inspections, and software quality assurance work product and process reviews with designated resources. Notify Team Leads of project timelines, milestones, phases, work request target dates, and approved executable work packages. Communicate and work with users and clients as necessary. Coordinate and present proposals to agencies as necessary. Analyze and distribute reports on program metrics related to improvement measures. Ensure processes and activities are followed. Obtain approval and sign‑off of the program plan with customer representatives. Manage scope for the program and gain agreement on scope changes with customer representatives and stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives. Identify and manage program risk; develop risk mitigation strategies and track to closure. Anticipate issues and proactively address them; resolve conflicts with sensitivity and tact. Coordinate the establishment of program standards and procedures with Team Leads. Ensure compliance with standards and procedures. Facilitate achievement of program service commitments and performance metrics. Ensure tasks provide value, support the strategic direction of the program, and meet service commitments; conduct reviews with agencies. Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers supporting the State as appropriate. Identify and track issues. Balance workload with program members’ capacity. Communicate to team members how their work assignments relate to and help achieve program objectives. Plan program‑specific training and orientation needs. Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete life cycle of projects, including design, programming, testing, and implementation of business solutions for various departments such as distribution, finance, and manufacturing. Serve as the primary point of contact for all program‑related issues and resolution of issues. Lead complex, full life‑cycle projects using Agile methodologies, ensuring clear prioritization, iterative delivery, stakeholder alignment, and consistent progress toward milestones. Demonstrate experience as a Scrum Master, guiding cross‑functional teams, facilitating ceremonies, and fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate with Shared Services teams within an Agile framework, ensuring alignment and effective delivery of shared components and services. Qualifications Minimum 9 years of experience in program management.
