In this role, you will:Report to the WSE System Design and Architecture Manager supporting system design for both United States Government and existing/future Foreign Military Sales contracts.Support the Design and Architecture Threat Modelling team by modelling and analyzing threat missile behaviorDevelop and maintain MATLAB/Python scripts for threat analysisSupport the Design and Architecture team by providing analysis of threat missile behaviorParticipate in system level design reviews and performance interchange meetings for future capabilities.Interact well with peers, leadership, customers and subcontractorsSupport technical discussions, and communicate in a clear and concise mannerTake the initiative to support the WSE organizations goals.The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Basic QualificationsBachelor Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience/combined educationKnowledge or experience of systems engineering concepts and processes.Active or Current Secret Security ClearanceDesired SkillsUnderstanding of overall system engineering processBallistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) design and analysisMedium or high fidelity simulation experienceSystem performance assessment tacticsScripting with Python, Matlab, Unix, Linux, Shell, Bash, C++, etc...Ability to define and detail solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to the customerDemonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviorsKnowledge of AGILE processProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $88100.00 - $163700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
