Senior Business Architect

Responsibilities Implement change initiatives that are prioritized according to business strategies. Deliver enhanced business values through effective stakeholder engagement and organizational change management. Engage with project managers, business analysts, users, designers, and developers to further understand the system and/or resolve system gaps. Work with Valuation associates globally to support the adoption of enhanced business processes and system capabilities, providing business support. Develop advanced understanding of RGA’s Valuation processes, data, and systems within and outside Valuation to ensure end‑to‑end integration. Partner with the quality assurance team to develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure system functionality. Lead cross‑functional efforts and provide constructive feedback to ensure that management strategies are properly incorporated into the overall architecture. Engage IT resources to ensure business requirements are met and implement the proper technical solutions aligned with business strategies. Provide guidance and assistance to Business Architects. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience. 5+ years of technology‑related experience in areas such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, or technology solution design and development. Advanced SQL skills and intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word. Advanced verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to share and impart domain knowledge and complex information. Advanced ability to collaborate and liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines. Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management, including negotiating and persuasion. Advanced investigative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into implementable specifications and support the implementation of technical and business solutions. Advanced ability to recognize and articulate process improvement opportunities and capability gaps. Advanced ability to set goals and manage multiple assigned tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Advanced data analysis skills and ability to adapt quickly to new methods. Ability to work under tight deadlines and demanding conditions. Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects; ability to resolve conflict and foster teamwork. Hands‑on knowledge of program management and software development lifecycle and methodologies, including Agile framework experience. Knowledge of change management. Base pay varies depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and, for some positions, eligibility for participation in our long‑term equity incentive plan.
