Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM Tue: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM Wed: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM Thur: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM Fri: 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items at designated entry points using assigned screening equipment and established post orders. Verify identification, review entry permissions, and/or direct visitors, contractors, and employees to the appropriate areas in a courteous, professional manner. Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, entrances, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related issues. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
