Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU The Neuro ICU is a specialized 12-bed critical care unit that focuses on the intensive management of patients experiencing life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Key cases handled in this unit include: Central nervous system tumors Complex spine surgery Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke Endovascular interventions Traumatic brain injury Spinal cord injury Neuromuscular diseases Status epilepticus Central nervous system infections Work Schedule Shifts are available for either 36 or 48 hours per week. The position requires: Nights Every other weekend Every other holiday, with a requirement to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays Qualifications Applicants must possess the following qualifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification required NIH stroke certification is required, but submissions are acceptable while pending Must have prior Epic experience Adherence to float policy is mandatory Ability to submit with a pending VA license is accepted This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, focusing on critical patient care within the Neuro ICU.
