Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician in Morgantown, West Virginia. This position involves supporting neuro and vascular interventional procedures within a high-volume acute care setting. The role requires maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patient status, and participating in emergency response activities, with a focus on neuroradiology and vascular interventions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities including 1-2 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend, and possible holiday call. Call back time is 45 minutes.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, current licensed to submit, and flexibility to work in Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology units. Minimum experience required: 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, above-average skills in cerebral coiling, Kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting.
• Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters, maintain sterile technique during procedures, document patient activity and procedures accurately, participate in emergency codes, inventory control, educational activities, and patient preparation. Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing approximately 20-30 cases daily, utilizing Canon, Siemens, and GE ultrasound equipment. Scrubs are provided. The position supports a fast-paced, high-volume IR lab with emphasis on neuroradiology and vascular interventions, including stroke therapy and stent placements.
