Test Manager - Healthcare Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid Duration: 12+ Months Notes: Need Local and W2 Candidates Only The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the project's success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. Job Summary The QA Lead will provide overall leadership for quality assurance strategy, planning, execution, and governance for a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) SaaS implementation. This position requires strong experience in healthcare application testing, data migration validation, ETL testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, defect management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure that EHR workflows, data conversion activities, SaaS configuration changes, interfaces, and vendor releases meet business, clinical, regulatory, audit, and project delivery standards. The QA Lead will work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating closely with program leadership, IT teams, vendors, and business users. This role will help ensure the solution meets functional requirements, data integrity standards, security and privacy regulations, and applicable compliance mandates. Required Qualifications 11+ years of experience in QA/Test Lead or QA/Test Manager roles 11+ years of hands-on experience with data validation, data migration, and ETL testing. 11+ years of experience leading functional testing across EHR modules, including clinical, scheduling, orders, medications, documentation, and billing, with validation of end-to-end workflows across clinical and administrative roles. 11+ years of experience leading validation testing for data migration and conversion from legacy EHR and ancillary systems, including validation of patient, clinical, pharmacy, billing, and historical records for accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation. 11+ years of experience in coordinating testing of interfaces, inbound/outbound data feeds, and downstream reporting impacts. 11+ years of experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidence. 11+ years of strong functional testing experience with EHR or healthcare SaaS platforms. 11+ years of experience coordinating testing activities with vendors and multidisciplinary teams. 11+ years of experience in creating and maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and test evidence 11+ years of proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM, or Jira. 11+ years of experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments. Preferred Experience 8+ years of prior experience with EHR implementations (clinical, pharmacy, billing workflows) 6+ years of knowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, CCD/A, ICD, and CPT, as applicable. 6+ years of understanding of HIPAA, privacy, security, and government healthcare compliance requirements.
