As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting residents and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records. Control access to the residential community in accordance with established procedures and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
