Customer Account Coordinator

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to manage customer accounts and serve as a key connection between customers and internal manufacturing teams. This role handles order management, customer forecasts, delivery communication, issue resolution, and account support while working closely with Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, Sales, and Finance. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing customer service experience who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships and advocate for customer needs internally.
• Manage sales orders, purchase orders, order changes, returns, and discrepancies.
• Monitor open orders and communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Coordinate customer-specific shipping and delivery requirements.
• Gather, review, and enter customer forecasts into the ERP system.
• Support pricing adjustments based on material costs and other factors.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints, returns, and product-related issues.
• Maintain accurate information in ERP, CRM, and customer portal systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, Sales, and Finance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent applicable industry experience.
• 3+ years of customer service or customer account experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
• Sales order and purchase order management experience.
• Customer forecasting and delivery coordination experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing pricing or material cost adjustments.
