Start out as a Behavior Technician Trainee and become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) with BAYADA in just a few weeks! Through our BAYADA RBT Academy, we give you the training you need to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT). A 40+ hour paid training program to prepare you to become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT). Receive high‑quality training grounded in evidence‑based practices in adult learning and applied behavior analysis (ABA) including: BAYADA University web‑based courses Hands‑on training and structured observation BAYADA study guides to prepare you for the RBT exam From an accredited US healthcare provider RBTs work with individuals with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDDs) to reduce challenging behaviors, increase functional skills, and foster independence and individuality. Responsibilities: Work directly with clients and follow the established treatment plan. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and pre‑school staff. Implement behavior therapy techniques. Document interventions and progress toward goals. Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plan. Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help the client acquire and maintain skills and to meet identified goals. Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age. Have a high school diploma or GED. No experience necessary. Complete RBT Academy and pass the RBT exam to become an RBT with BAYADA.
