Express is seeking a dedicated and skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA (23231). As a Reach Truck Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our facility, contributing to our commitment to excellence in service and safety.
Responsibilities- Operate reach trucks to move, locate, and stack products in designated areas.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the reach truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and efficiency.
- Document inventory movements and report discrepancies as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck or similar equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
