Clinical Outcomes Specialist - IMU

The Clinical Outcomes Specialist at MD Anderson Cancer Center identifies quality improvement opportunities, analyzes patient outcomes, and supports the delivery of high quality, patient centered care. This role partners with the interprofessional team to coordinate care across the continuum, improve processes, and enhance clinical outcomes for complex patient populations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in a healthcare field, and five years of clinical nursing experience, including three years of oncology nursing experience. The candidate must hold a current Texas RN license, maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification. The ideal candidate must also be available to work an evening shift on-site, Monday through Friday, 3:00PM - 11:00 PM. G22 IMU is a specialized intermediate care unit providing advanced monitoring and treatment for oncology patients who require a higher level of care than a general medical unit but do not need intensive care. Nurses on this unit manage complex therapies, monitor for complications, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families. Hourly breakdown of salary range:
