Details Work in a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 ICU patient ratio of 2:1 and Step Down ratio of 3:1 Floating required to sister unit for Step Down 1:3 or progressive level patients at 4:1 Weekend and holiday rotation commitment required Patient population includes severe respiratory failure, sepsis/septic shock, hemodynamic instability, neurologic conditions, complex metabolic/endocrine disorders, cardiac conditions, and GI/hepatic failure Manages patients requiring continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, arterial lines, mechanical or noninvasive ventilation, titrated IV medications, and enteral/parenteral nutrition Requirements Active RN license (IN state or compact) currently in hand Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to a medically complex ICU/Step Down patient population Radius rule applies, with local candidates accepted at a reduced rate that varies by facility location Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address American Traveler Job ID P-741200.
