#3 Operator in Press We are hiring a #3 Operator in Press for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a #3 Press Operator you will be responsible for operating state‑of‑the‑art offset and digital web presses, providing operational management and technical support. Work Hours 1st shift – 6:30am – 2:30pm Occasional overtime up to 4hours/day and occasional weekend shifts Responsibilities Assist the crew on the press, performing setup and production activities, typically on the back‑end of the presses to ensure the press is running smoothly Prepare for upcoming jobs by reading the DSR and job specifications, as well as staging materials Quality check products for our customers, complete transactions, bundle and tag products Fill in for Lead and Mid‑Level Operators as needed, covering absences or breaks Monitor equipment and product quality; maintain housekeeping procedures to keep the work area and equipment in good condition; document activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems (MII, SAP) such as material usage, equipment issues, and troubleshoot when necessary Use safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations, report all safety and environmental hazards, and attend safety and environmental training programs to ensure compliance and a culture of safety Qualifications High school diploma or higher; vocational/technical degree strongly preferred Experience in an industrial setting with maintenance and troubleshooting of diverse production machinery is strongly desired Strong mechanical and technical skills, competent with rulers and measurement Thorough understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices, including use of personal protective equipment and following machine instructions and production orders Can regularly lift at least 5lbs. above the shoulder; push, pull, lift at least 10lbs occasionally up to 50lbs; regularly standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling Compensation & Benefits Base hourly pay $18.00 – $34.00 2nd shift differential of $4.00 per hour, 3rd shift differential of $5.00 per hour, and a bonus plan $2,500 sign‑on bonus after 90 days in the role 3 weeks vacation, 10 sick days, 9 company holidays, 3 floating days Uniform and laundry service; mental health days off; access to Headspace app; retirement savings plan; tuition reimbursement; employee incentive programs; wellness resources EEO Statement Thomson Reuters is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and is proud to provide a drug‑free workplace.
