Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established chemical facility emergency protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while following required site rules and protective equipment requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
