Willow Counseling Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our growing team in New York City. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to provide impactful mental health services while working in a supportive and flexible environment.

Work Environment\nThis position allows for a remote work setting, promoting a work-life balance while still encouraging comprehensive collaborations with team members. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient availability and needs. Our remote setup utilizes state-of-the-art communication tools to enhance interaction with team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments to thoroughly understand each patient's unique needs, leading to the formulation of personalized therapeutic plans. \n
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to individual, couples, and family dynamics. \n
- Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups that focus on common challenges faced by patients, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals on patient case management, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive treatment approach. \n
- Provide crisis intervention services when urgent mental health support is required, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and effective communication during emergencies. \n
- Educate patients regarding their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and community resources to enhance their understanding and self-management of their conditions. \n
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. \n
- Actively engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a learning culture through feedback and shared knowledge. \n
- Stay current with latest research, methodologies, and advancements in the mental health field to ensure that therapeutic practices meet contemporary standards. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State. \n
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment practices. \n
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective personalized treatment plans. \n
- Experience in individual and group therapy, particularly with diverse populations. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening. \n
- Strong ethical commitment, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications. \n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
