Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), CI/CD, Oracle, and SQL. The role involves supporting enterprise applications, implementing integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and working with modern development and cloud technologies with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support backend applications using Java .
Work with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for application deployment and management.
Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Helios .
Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk .
Develop and maintain applications using IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
Utilize GitHub Copilot and modern developer productivity tools where applicable.
Work with HashiCorp Vault , SSO, and SCIM integrations.
Support AWS S3 storage and enterprise file transfer technologies including MFT/SFTP .
Work with NG/integration components as required.
Develop and optimize Oracle and SQL queries to support the REDS application.
Troubleshoot application and database issues and provide production support.
Work independently with minimal supervision in an onsite environment.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of professional IT experience .
Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.
Knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) .
Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Splunk for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
Strong Oracle database and SQL query development experience.
Experience with IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and modern development tools.
Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, SSO, and SCIM.
Experience with AWS S3 storage.
Understanding of MFT/SFTP and enterprise application integrations.
Ability to work onsite with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

Experience with Mainframe (MF) and JCL .
Experience supporting enterprise financial applications.
Knowledge of cloud-native application deployment and DevOps practices.
