TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Geriatrics to provide high-quality care to elderly patients. This role is ideal for RNs with experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatric hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to elderly patients’ unique health needs
• Monitor and assess chronic conditions , administer medications, and manage treatments
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities to enhance patient comfort
• Educate patients and families on aging-related health concerns and disease management
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Implement and follow fall prevention and infection control protocols
• Document patient conditions, progress, and care plans accurately and timely
• Support end-of-life care and palliative care services as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 2 years of geriatric, long-term care, or home health experience
• Basic Life Support ( BLS ) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS ) certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge of age-related diseases , such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, and osteoporosis
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with elderly patients and families
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and care documentation
