The successful candidate will be a key partner to the business, providing senior-level legal guidance to support the launch, promotion, and commercialization of healthcare products and services. This role is pivotal in advising on legal considerations for direct-to-consumer and digital initiatives, including go-to-market strategy, promotional activities, pricing, and distribution models. The Senior Counsel will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare and consumer protection requirements, as well as counseling on a range of healthcare-specific regulatory issues, such as fraud and abuse considerations, advertising regulations, and data privacy obligations. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with a minimum of 8 years' of experience in relevant sectors. The role involves leading the drafting, negotiation, and interpretation of commercial agreements, as well as managing disputes and issues arising from commercial activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare law, be adept at providing practical, risk-balanced legal advice, and have the ability to coordinate with legal colleagues to ensure consistent and scalable legal guidance. Experience in supporting new business initiatives, strategic collaborations, and a deep understanding of evolving regulatory requirements in healthcare delivery and access models are also essential.
